Safe work environment Position Summary The Service Manager will support Young Boats mission, values and growth plan by focusing on four key functions:

Screen and Service Estimates 2.
Service Invoices 3.
Scheduling- Managing all incoming and outgoing customer repair schedules 4.
Customer Experience/Team Collaboration 1.
Service Estimates Screen requests for repairs using Young Boat guidelines- escalated and gain approval on any exceptions Complete written quotes and verify parts and procedures with necessary departments Coordinate virtual and in- person repair quotes -Provide an overview of the services you provide - A line by line breakdown of costs -Terms and conditions covering delivery and payment methods Follow up on outstanding quotes Strict adherence to the Young Boats quality standards and procedures Maintains a strong working knowledge of industry standards and practices as well company's products and services.

Work Orders Write all Service Invoices with meticulous detail and accountability Review Service Invoices with Service Manager and make any changes as instructed by Service Manager Responsible for all closed invoices for future reference 3.
Scheduling Managing all incoming and outgoing customer repair schedule Communicate with Service Manager on upcoming, current, and completed projects Confirm parts are in for upcoming jobs 4.
Customer Experience/ Team Collaboration Coordinates virtual and in person repair quotes with each customer Sends work order revisions to current customers, and refer questions to service manager as necessary.
Follow up after repairs are complete CRM schedule with all customers both new builds and repairs including anniversary calls, event invitations and check in calls Involves necessary team members at appropriate times to meet targets and customer expectations Escalates issues to appropriate team member or Service Manager when needed for problem solving or troubleshooting Removes hurdles for other departments when possible Balances customer needs with business needs to create win-win approach Assist with QC check on Service Projects Other Requirements Previous service writing experience (preferred) Knowledge of marine terminology and products (preferred) Possess adaptable skills to navigate various software applications (Total Control Software (TCS), Word, Excel, etc.
